Fathers

Fathers can feel left out of, or distanced from parts of the pregnancy and birth-giving journeys. We can help you understand how to support your partner and your baby during all phases. And we also give you a lot of ideas about what you can do for yourself during these times of transitions, so you can contribute your strength and compassion to this journey.

'...by 24 weeks babies' hearing is so acute that they respond to sounds and recognize daddy's voice...it is reassuring for them to hear familiar words over and over...daddy loves you...thank you for coming to us...I can't wait to meet you...' - KT

The Daddy Mantra

"Hi, it's me. I'm back. This is daddy's voice.
Daddy loves you.
How are you doing in there?
Thank you so much for coming to us!
I can't wait to meet you.
I love you, and I am proud of you for what you are doing.
It is a lot of work to make yourself into a baby.
I am waiting right here for you.
And I'll always love you and take care of you”
