Part 2: Eye Prosody

In this segment, the second of three, you will continue to watch a supervision session with one of our wonderful OBTC students, Hanne. In Part 1 we showed the Eye Analysis, and in Part 2 you will see what you can learn from the Eye Prosody.

The eyes are the window to the soul, and nearly all of us have quite a difference from eye to eye. Physiologically one might be lower and closer to the middle of the face. Emerson called this phenomenon an “eye split” - when one eye looks different from the other due to Perinatal impacts. While perinates are traversing challenging physiologic cranial pressures, psycho-emotional experiences coincidentally get imprinted, captured like a dandelion seed in amber. These captured emotions, attitudes, and beliefs, can be seen and differentiated in the expressions from eye to eye. A BMR can include an “eye prosody analysis” - a study which reveals something about the soul. Here is the part of Hannah‘s BMR where we do an eye prosody analysis: together we look from side to side see if we can identify psycho emotional qualitative differences, the “eye prosody”. In other words what is the feeling state expressed by each eye and how are they different, and what can we learn by understanding these differences? A lot!
