I want to take this opportunity to share some feedback regarding Simon's session (8 years old).

We talked about the homework you gave us—for example, for his Stage 2 rotation trauma—buying a lock and supporting him in unlocking it as fast and as slow as he can, with his eyes to the right, to the left, and so on.

The next day, I was working on my computer when he came to me and sat down on the sofa. He started talking about his birth, seemingly out of nowhere. He told me, literally:

*"Babies need to turn their heads to come out.

I had to turn my head, and there was this big bump of a bone. I had to go over it, and that’s where I injured my eye.

It was bleeding. The blood is gone, but it still hurts sometimes.”*

I’ve been working in this field for a few years now, yet I’m still overwhelmed by what human beings can consciously feel, remember, and express—once they are accurately seen.

I love this little boy so much.

And I believe that now, he feels he is being loved a little more accurately.

Saphira, Midwife

Crying as I read your words, remembering the love you share so generously in every course.

Thank you—more than words can express—for embracing human beings and their wounds with such love, love, love, and for offering your deep, unwavering support.

Thank you for being my teacher.

I am deeply grateful for the help today with my 38-year-old baby. More evidence that there is no time in God—only the eternal now, where pain is met and healed.

"I just finished watching it. I'm very grateful for the beauty of this class.

Also, thanks for Duncan's BMR session. It's always fascinating the way Karlton explains the steps and details. The result is amazing—Duncan looks more open, fresh, and more expressive."

Deep work. Amazing results.

What a change in that left eye!!! And in Duncan's self-experience.

Thank you, Karlton, for sharing this.

The first two nights, I had clear dreams that I could recall—something unusual for me, as I typically don’t remember my dreams.

I’ve felt a deeper sense of peace within, a profound settling, and a noticeable relaxation in my shoulders. It feels as though my neck has received permission to explore its birth memory process.

I feel truly honored to have received the BMR work.

"Working alongside Karlton with babies and their parents, I was often deeply moved and fascinated. It was truly impressive—and brought me joy—to see and feel how he could shift the atmosphere for a family, even in the midst of a group of students. We would all gather around, and somehow, everything would settle into something profoundly peaceful and loving.

Karlton created a space of safety and openness, allowing trust to grow and deep emotions to surface. Babies and parents alike were held with sensitivity and empathy, their wounds safely contained and acknowledged.

Healing unfolded—not just for the babies and parents, but for us adults as well. We learned to understand babies' crying and body language, to recognize the journey they had traveled into this world, and to honor their experiences with newfound awareness."

Dr. Rose Drescherswartz Psychiatrist, Switzerland

Seeing pregnancy and birth through the eyes of the baby allows us—therapists, parents, and grandparents—to truly understand a baby’s needs and sorrows.

Karlton's book is a wonderful gift to the world—for anyone who has a baby, works with babies, or simply wants to understand what is happening inside their little one and how to support them with deep empathy.

I wholeheartedly recommend his book to parents because it so effortlessly helps them connect with their baby on a deeper level, transforming their communication and strengthening their bond. It is profoundly healing for a baby to be truly seen.

I have also met parents who, even years later, were deeply grateful after reading it—finally understanding what their baby had felt in those early days.

Karlton received these emails before and after a private Zoom session with a mother and her 4-year-old son, who was struggling with severe constipation, including a fecal impaction after nearly two years of chronic issues.

Before the Session:

*"His stomach has gotten worse, not better. It appears our laxative treatment isn’t working enough, and I’m pretty sure we will have to take him to the hospital for an enema.

I was hoping that addressing the underlying emotional issues would help him release and pass it, but at this point, I’m worried it’s too late for that to make a difference."*

Karlton met with the family for a Prenatal Zoom Session, addressing prenatal traumas related to constipation, including Umbilical Affect/Hoarding and Prenatal Opportunistic “Straw Feeding.”

After the Session:

*"Tuesday, the floodgates opened—he literally went nine times! And another three times today.

It looks like we'll be able to avoid medical intervention, and we’re actively working on the exercises you suggested."*

For many years, his Baby Clinics served as essential spaces for both teaching and healing, offering transformative support for babies experiencing prenatal and birth trauma.

We sincerely hope that Karlton continues to share his profound knowledge and wisdom with the world—a world that so urgently needs this deep level of healing.

Sarah, a mother whose 1-year-old was waking and crying 5 to 10 times per night while teething, shared this after a video call focused on Lie Side, mTBI, and a Somato-Magnetism assessment:

*"I can't believe (except I can!) what an impact our last Zoom session had. THAT NIGHT—and for several nights after—he slept almost the entire night, waking only once.

Now that he's teething again, the discomfort and reduced appetite have led to 2-3 wake-ups per night, but that’s still so much better than 5-10!

I am FOREVER thankful."*

Karlton Terry was our teacher during our pre- and perinatal psychotherapy training, alongside William Emerson and Marjorie Rand. Later, he trained us as teachers, trainers, and supervisors in both pre- and perinatal psychotherapy and baby psychotherapy at the Institute for Pre and Perinatal Education (IPPE).

Karlton developed exceptional trainings focused on the earliest periods of embodiment, including the egg journey, sperm journey, and conception, as well as implantation, umbilical affect, and other prenatal experiences—guiding us through the entire birth process with remarkable depth.

His trainings in Baby Therapy are unique, profoundly rich, and deeply impactful.
